My favorite color? It’s a toss-up between seafoam green and sunset orange—colors that remind me of summer evenings on the porch with a chilled dessert in hand. My favorite meal is hands-down a big bowl of fresh berry parfait layered with honeyed Greek yogurt and crunchy granola. Simple, refreshing, and deeply satisfying.

I didn’t go to culinary school. I actually studied early childhood education at a small college in North Carolina, where I spent more time than I’d like to admit testing dessert recipes in my dorm microwave. I was that guy who always had plastic wrap, a whisk, and an emergency stash of chocolate chips on hand. My roommate used to joke that I should’ve majored in “Dorm Room Dessert Science.”
